ARCHITECTURAL HARDWARE CONSULTANT
is a leading contract manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality commercial, residential and architectural door hardware. Our brand, DOREX, is the preferred choice of professionals, developers, and architects – found throughout North America in private homes, multi-family residential developments, offices, commercial and industrial buildings.
We are seeking a driven Architectural Hardware Consultant, or equivalent, to work out of our head office in Montreal. The preferred candidate will be a self-motivated individual with an inquisitive nature and possess an excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have acquired a strong business acumen through years of experience in architectural hardware, both in sales and specifications. Knowledge of architectural and building procedures will be an asset.
The successful candidate will have built a network of industry contacts. The role will be to learn our product selection and offer it to his network, our own established base and to develop new inroads into the market. The AHC will be responsible for specifying our branded products and developing sales opportunities for Canaropa and its business partners. The successful candidate will eventually expand his/her expertise in the industry and provide us solid market intel to help in new product development.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Go getter
- Strong entrepreneurial and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Ability to stay involved in a project from inception to post construction
- Post secondary education
- AHC accreditation or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Suite; advanced in Excel
- Experience in writing technical specifications
