Estimator/Sales Position
AMBICO Limited is an Ottawa based manufacturer of specialized doors and frames for the International marketplace. The successful candidate will be based in our Ottawa offices alongside our factory, working under the direction of the Director of Sales and Marketing, doing quantity and material pricing for our doors, frames and windows.
Skills
- Experience in estimating procedures, accuracy and proficiency with quantity takeoffs is essential
- Technical knowledge in the door and frame industry an asset
- Strong organizational skills, goal driven, with the ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others, both written and oral
- Ability to deal with problems in a professional manner
- Bilingual in oral and written English and French is an asset
- Experience with the SAGE ACCPAC software package would be an asset
- Direct experience working in custom metal fabrication environment an asset
- Customer Service oriented
- Sales skill or experience
Education
Post-secondary school education –Architectural Technologist\Construction Engineering\BA - or similar work experience.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Daily Requirements:
- Review and interpret Specifications and Construction Documents
- Prepare Quotations using Ambico Limited Price Lists, programs and tools
- Meet customer expectations and deadlines
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Cultivate relationships with customers
