Role of the Sales Representative:

You are responsible for promoting company Door & Hardware products and services to generate sales and ensure customer satisfaction. You will maintain positive customer relationships with new and existing customers, therefore, contributing to the Company Sales Team in order to achieve company goals and sales targets.

Position Expectations:

Meet individual sales targets by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers, by promoting and selling company door & hardware products and services to contractors, architects, designers and end users.

Contribute to the overall Sales Team success by achieving individual sales targets as well as supporting and collaborating with other Sales Representatives reflecting the totality of the company and acting in the best interest of the company.

Liaison with vendors, contractors, tradespeople to build positive interactions and relationships that foster, encourage and maintain business connections and sales/project opportunities.

With the support of a Project Coordinator, manage the life cycle of construction projects:

Our Ideal Sales Representative:

Is a self-motivator.

Has an understanding of the sales process and/or willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge

Has an understanding of the construction industry and possess product knowledge

Is results driven with a focus on quality and attention to detail

Is a communicator that clearly conveys and receives information and ideas

Uses interpersonal styles and techniques to build relationships, reduce tension and/or conflict

Is able to work quickly and efficiently despite ambiguity and responds to unforeseen opportunities

Is organized and sets priorities to get the job done

Has an education in a technical field (e.g. Construction Engineering) or equivalent in working experience.

Has computer knowledge and an intermediate to advance skill set.
