Adel Gamar

Adel Gamar is CEO and Co-Founder of Gamar Leadership Group Ltd., a boutique firm specializing in adaptive leadership, organizational strategy and change management. He is driven to forge effective collaborations among business, government, and non-profit sectors while creating lasting and impactful solutions. Over the course of his career, he has advised and trained senior leaders and teams of Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, public sector agencies, and governments worldwide. He served as Education Specialist at UNESCO and Policy Fellow at Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, Adel taught adaptive leadership and negotiation. He also co-facilitated the Think Tank on Global Education: Empowering Global Citizens.

Adel holds a Master in Public Administration, Public Policy and Management from Harvard, Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Management from the University of Leicester, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. He currently serves on the boards of Douglas College (Vice-Chair) and Boston-based Knovva Academy.

At UBC Sauder Executive Education, Adel teaches Art and Practice of Adaptive Leadership and Adaptive Collaboration.
