Successful Hires
To be a successful hire, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word and AutoCad. This position requires the ability to read multiple drawings and specifications. Preference will be given to candidates that are familiar or have a background in interior design or high-rise residential construction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting with the design and execution of door hardware schedules and product specification packages
- Responsible for creating material budgets and proposals for residential, commercial and institutional projects
- Coordinate between multiple design professional drawings to ensure design conformance, security and building code requirements are met
- Multi-task between multiple on-going projects during various stages of development
- Coordinate construction documents and produce shop drawings and record submittals
Requirements
- *Previous experience within the Hollow Metal Frames, Doors and Hardware industry*
- Understand design projects and be able to read working drawing sets across a number of disciplines
- Review working drawing sets and prepare opening schedules for review by owner
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, interior designers
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCad is preferred
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
