DHT Exam Prep/Exam and DHC Exam Prep/Exam

The requirements to attain your Door & Hardware Technician (DHT) designation and your Door & Hardware Consultant (DHC) designation change on January 1, 2025. After January 1st, students will be required to take six (6) courses to attain their DHT and twelve (12) courses to attain their DHC. 

DHT/DHC Prep Courses
Our expert instructors will take students through a comprehensive review of the material required to successfully pass the DHT and DHC exams. This material includes the review of Hardware, Doors & Frames, Electrified Hardware and Access Control, Keying, Project Management, Codes, Contract Documents, and Coordination. You will leave this class with a firm understanding of the knowledge required to successfully pass the end of class exam and attain your DHT or DHC designation. 

DHT/DHC Exams 
The computerized certificate exams will be administered on Day 3 of the course – students have four (4) hours to complete the exam and results are provided upon completion. 

(NOTE: STUDENTS MUST HAVE ATTAINED THEIR DHT BEFORE TAKING THE DHC EXAM)

SCHEDULE  Prep Courses Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12  8:00am - 5:30pm Exams  Friday, December 13  8:30am – 12:30pm  REGISTRATION FEE POLICIES  Registration fee includes tuition, course material, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.  A $200 administration fee will be applied to cancellations received until December 1, 2024; no refunds after this date.  Substitutions any time.

MULTIPLE REGISTRATION DISCOUNT  Companies that register five or more employees are entitled to a reduced registration fee based on the number of students enrolled.
