Meet Our Presenters:
Jennifer McGill, MBA
President, AMBICO Ltd.
As president of Ambico, Jennifer leads the day-to-day operations including Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance and HR.
Jennifer has spent 25 years in the building materials industry working in Europe and Africa for Gypsum. Upon returning to Canada she worked for Westlake Building Products. In 2016, she joined Masonite’s Architectural Division to head up the Canadian operations. She continued to work with Masonite until 2022. She joined Ambico to assist with their strategic plan and ultimately came on board as President in 2024.
Jennifer is a strong advocate for women in the workplace – especially in male-dominated industries. She takes pride in mentoring her employees and helping them achieve success they didn’t think was possible.
Elise Mayberry, MBA
Partner/VP Marketing, Allmar Inc.
With 25 years in the door and hardware industry, Elise has worked in various areas of the Allmar business with her current role as partner/VP of Marketing and part of the executive committee and board of directors. She achieved her MBA in 2020, with a focus on marketing and leadership.
Elise is a strong supporter of DHI Canada and is proud of Allmar’s commitment to providing the technical education and experience their employees need to further their career development.
As a recent addition to the DHI Canada Board of Directors and a member of the Advocacy Committee for the past few years, she is extremely committed to this important initiative of promoting and supporting women in the Canadian door and hardware industry.
Kristi Scott, AHC, CFDAI
Owner & Managing Partner, Hinged Solutions Inc.
Over the past 25 years, Kristi has worked across Canada but focused in the Okanagan Valley and BC Markets. She has held positions in Procurement, Project Management, Branch Management, General Management and served as a Chief Operating Officer.
Kristi’s passion for the industry and the love of the challenges this industry brings keeps her fresh and engaged. Whether it is new products, people, manufacturer or education, there is always something to learn. She feels that the ability to adapt to this industry’s ever-changing environment and the courage to go after new challenges is one of her greatest strengths.
She brings a very youthful energy and unlimited enthusiasm to everything she does. She has stayed true to her beliefs that with honesty, integrity, dedication and attention to detail, she will continue to maintain her commitment to excellence in all areas of accountability.
Kristi continues to give back to the industry by volunteering her time and training future generations. In addition to instructing at DHI Canada’s national and regional education programs, she serves as DHI Canada’s Education Director and is instrumental in developing the curriculums and assigning qualified instructors for the schools.
