Highlights of our 2025 Fall Technical School – Another Blockbuster

Another outstanding attendance with 68 students participating in the eight courses – proving once again that in-person education provides students with the learning experience they need to advance their careers.  On top of that, four students took the opportunity to write either the AHC or EHC exams – good luck to all and congratulations on taking this major step to achieve your certification.  DHI Canada remains committed to educating the next generation of Canadian door and hardware experts.  We couldn’t do it without the support of our employers, our students and our instructors.  Thanks to all for your commitment to DHI Canada’s education program.

We received 23 applications for this school’s scholarship.  Congratulations to our winner…

One of the eight courses offered was DAI600 – Fire & Egress Door Assembly Inspection.  Two students successfully passed the exam and earned their CFDAI.

Congratulations Champs

To William Knell & Company - For providing storage, shipment and return of our COR133 and COR117 samples.

To Allegion, Fleming/Baron and ASSA ABLOY for providing the many samples needed for our classes.

And especially to our Education Director, Kristi Scott, for once again offering an education program that ticked all the boxes – excellent instructors, over-the-top registration and outstanding results.

Student Appreciation Night adds an exciting new feature

Thanks to the generosity and efforts of the DHI Ontario Chapter, our Student Appreciation Night was over the top this year with the addition of a casino.  Students, instructors and Ontario chapter members showed their gambling spirit as they played blackjack, war, roulette and wheel of fortune throughout the evening.  The grand prize donated by the chapter was a $500 Canadian Tire gift card.
