When asked what he enjoys most about his role, he emphasized professional growth, as well as the technical knowledge sharing aspect of customer service: “Helping customers understand and navigate the intricacies of doors, frames, and hardware. Every day is different and presents new challenges and opportunities to continue learning. I enjoy electronic hardware and helping customers understand the requirements for that hardware. I also enjoy detailing hardware sets and hope to become more involved with specifying hardware as my career grows.” Christopher enjoys being involved in the industry, and with DHI Canada and participating in in golf tournaments and educational events are an annual highlight for him.

When asked what makes Allmar a good place to work, he emphasized the people and the support, commenting: “One of the best parts of working at Allmar is the support provided for continuing education and opportunities for career development. I began as an Installer and have now moved into Project Management. Continuing education and DHI education have played a vital role in my transition, and the support from Allmar in helping me achieve my goals is one of the reasons I really enjoy working here. The people you work with day-to-day also make a big difference and I am fortunate that the Ottawa branch has so many welcoming and talented members that help make even the toughest days enjoyable ones.”

Fun facts about Christopher: he is a proud new father to son Theodore who was born last July and he “can’t wait to get him out on the golf course.” In his spare time, he loves to golf, play soccer, and cook Sunday dinners for his family and extended family.
