It is with heartfelt gratitude, and bittersweet sentiments, that I announce effective July 24th, 2026, the retirement of Sam Scutella and Boyd Roberton.

After a long and storied career at UCSH we are excited for Sam and his wife Beverly as they move forward with a well-deserved retirement. Sam has been an integral part of our journey these past 35 years. We thank Sam and wish him well.

Boyd and his wife Susan had a dream 39 years ago, to build Canada’s best Hardware consulting and distribution firm. What began as a vision shared around plans, conversations, and possibility, has grown brick by brick, door by door, relationship by relationship, into the Integrated Solutions Provider we are all proud to be part of today.

We strongly believe in culture, integrity and that our people matter, not just as employees, but as individuals, and as a family. From our earliest days of having a residential showroom and a few offices to becoming one of the most respected and capable companies in our industry. We look forward to our continued growth and evolution.

Our clients have been instrumental to our success; we extend our gratitude while looking forward to our continued journey together.

Boyd is committed to ensuring a smooth transition and will be working closely with our team. Boyd will remain available to UCSH as a consultant during his transition.
