James Martin Ferguson, who spent over 60 years in the hardware industry, has passed away. Jim started his career in London Ontario with DH Howdens alongside his life-long friend, Don Dudley. He never really retired as he kept his sales agency intact until the end.

FERGUSON, James Martin - Passed away peacefully at home in London with family by his side on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 in his 88th year. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty (née Bannister). Loved father of David (Lori Payne), Scott (Tania Corey) and Douglas (Stephanie Hansuld). He will be missed by his eight grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Alexandra, Thomas, Gavin, Tyler, Jack, Effie, Ian, and Marnie. Dear brother of David (Marie) and brother-in-law of Helen. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Norma (née Martin) Ferguson and brother Thomas. Jim was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed his time playing poker and bridge with friends. He lived his life full of compassion and empathy for others. A special thank you to the Victorian Order of Nurses for their loving care and support. Friends will be received at the Royal Canadian Legion, Byron Branch, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London, on Friday, November 18th, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
